The hygiene factor: preserving air quality
The ELIXAIR climate well is an air handling application. The air must not be degraded as it passes through the duct system. To ensure this, ELIXAIR ducts must be installed with a minimum slope of 1.5% at all points, so that any condensates that may form on the walls are collected in a specifically designated low point.
The Technical Notice describes all the provisions ensuring its implementation in accordance with best practices.
Air intake is carried out through an air inlet equipped with a filter designed to retain particles present in the outside air. In mainland France, the air intake filter * must be changed at least twice a year, with one replacement in June (after pollination).
* Replacement must be carried out exclusively using the filter specified by PAM Building.
