PAM RAPID replaces PAM CV & CE couplings
PAM RAPID, the first choice for standard pressure couplings
We are putting an end to PAM CV - CE two-screw couplings in building construction as they do not comply with the current fire protection laws. Production has therefore been discontinued and PAM RAPID will replace PAM CV - CE. One-screw couplings are always the first choice for safe and fast connections. PAM RAPID couplings are fast to install and fully compliant with latest regulations for cast-iron drainage pipes and are also suitable for renovation. Starting from first of January 2022, we will stop commercialisation of PAM CV - CE couplings, please check for stock availability.

PAM RAPID HAS IT ALL!
• Structural fire protection: tested & approved.
• Compliant with standard EN877.
• Large range from DN 50 to DN 300.
• Super-fast single bolt installation.
• High stability in the pipe system.
• Full opening strap particularly suited to renovation projects.

How to install PAM RAPID?
DN 50 to DN 200 Assembly as a sleeve
Couplings are supplied pre-assembled. The PAM RAPID from DN 50 to 200 is designed to be tightened to fully closed, there is no need to check the torque.
- Push the supplied assembled coupling onto the pipe spigot so that it abuts on the central register of the elastomer gasket.
- Push the next pipe spigot into the other end of the coupling.
- Tighten the screw to “zero gap” position, i.e. fully closed, with a ratchet spanner or electric screwdriver.
DN 250 to DN 300
They can be assembled in two different ways, depending on whether an open strap is required.

- Open the stainless steel strap.
- Slide the stainless steel strap loose around the first pipe component.
- Push the sealing gasket onto the component spigot so it abuts on the central register of the gasket.
- Push the second component into the sealing gasket, so that it abuts on the central register.
- Bring the steel strap over the sealing gasket.
- Tighten the bolt with a ratchet spanner or a power tool applying the following tightening torque: DN 250 and DN 300 = 25 N.m
