The technical factor: having a bit of land at your disposal
In the absence of other thermal applications, the installation of a heat sink does not rule out the use of the surrounding area, which can normally be planted or even built on.
For example, it can be installed under a car park, a driveway or even under a building.
Ideally, the branches should be spaced 1 metre apart: the burial depth should be at least 1.5 m above the network.
The presence of a minimum space around the building is one of the prerequisites to be taken into account even before the feasibility study. The air handling unit can be installed under the building, but the suction head(s) must be outside the building.
